My brother-in-law had a cat that was very playful and would sometimes
bite. He decided to bite the cat on the ear every time that it bit
him.
What was the result? The cat met the challenge by digging in with
his claws while he was biting.
Some people believe that biting a child who has bitten you will help the
child understand the consequences of biting. Experts disagree.
