Friendship – Offering Support
Have you ever had a friend who was sad or in trouble? You wanted to help
but you just didn’t know what to do.
When offering support to a friend it is important to remember that the other
person must have a lot to think about at the moment. Your quiet presence
is might be all that is needed at the time.
As one distraught person said to a bustling, well-meaning friend, “Don’t just do
something – sit there!”
Can you think of a time when you received or offered support to a friend or
family member?

Play A Game – I Spy ABC’s
Player One looks around the room and finds something that starts with the
letter A. Player Two must find something that starts with the letter
B, and so on.
If you encounter a letter that has no visible objects starting with that
letter, you must name something else that has a direct relationship with a
word that does fit the category.
For example, if your letter was X and there wasn’t an X-ray machine or a
xylophone sitting nearby, you could spot the stereo and say, “I might hear
xylophone music on the stereo.”
