Highly Effective People - Sharpening The Saw
Many, many books have been written offering advice
on how to improve your life. One of the best,
in my opinion, is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective
People by Stephen R. Covey. The 7th habit is what
the author refers to as "Sharpening the Saw".
Sharpening the saw is taking care of the
machine. In this case, the machine would be
your body. What can you do to keep yourself
physically and mentally keen in order to attain
your other goals?

Play A Word Game - Tom
Swifties
"This dart has no tip," said Tom
bluntly.
"Will you pass me the sugar, please?" asked
Tom sweetly.
The two examples above are commonly called Tom Swifties. They are fun to create.
First think
of an adverb (an adverb is used to modify a verb
and most of them end in ly).
Then think of a concept to which that adverb
could apply.
In the first example, a dart with no tip would
be blunt.
In the second example, sugar is sweet.
