Accomplishing Big Tasks – One Step At A Time

Have you heard the old maxim “Inch by inch it’s a cinch, yard by yard it will be hard”?

Do you have big jobs that you are putting off because they seem too big to accomplish?  Break a big chore down into smaller chores and set your goal to accomplish one small step at a time.

Take turns naming your big projects and brainstorming ways to divide them into smaller steps.

Play A Word Game – Fruits And Vegetables

Take turns building a relationship chain between fruits and vegetables. Read my example to get you started.

  • Player One: Honeydew is a melon and so is cantaloupe.
  • Player Two: Cantaloupe is orange and so are pumpkins.
  • Player Three: Pumpkins grow on vines and so do peas.
  • Player Four: Peas are good in stew and so are carrots.
Have fun and be creative!
