Of course you remember the story of the Ugly Duckling who grew up to be a
swan. As in the case of the large, gangly baby swan who compared himself with
the small, fluffy ducklings, low self-esteem usually comes about when we compare
ourselves with others and feel that we are lacking. A much healthier outlook is
achieved when we recognize that all people are different and to appreciate those
differences
How do you feel about self-esteem in your household? Are there things you
wish were different about yourself? Are these desired changes realistic and
attainable? Will making these changes make you a better person?
Following are some sites that offer more information on developing a healthy
self-esteem and implementing changes toward achieving your goals. Have a healthy
and happy family.
