Mental Pictures - Creating Captions
For this activity take turns describing a memorable scene to each other.
Allow time for each person to form a detailed mental picture of the episode then
challenge each person to provide a humorous caption for the mental picture.
Here is a story to get you started. One of the oddest things I have ever seen
was a deer chasing a coyote down the side of a mountain as fast as she could
run. The coyote was just barely keeping ahead. The only explanation my husband
and I could concoct was that the deer had a fawn hiding in the brush and the
coyote had come too close.
The caption I would use to describe that image would be, "Don't mess with
Mama!"
