The Golden Rule – How Do You Say It?

Confucius: What you do not want done to yourself, do not do unto others.

Aristotle: We should behave to others as we wish others to behave to us.

Judaism: What you dislike for yourself, do not do to anyone.

Hinduism: Do nothing to thy neighbor which thou wouldst not have him do to thee thereafter.

Islam: No one of you is a believer unless he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

Buddhism: Hurt not others with that which pains thyself.

Christianity: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Speech – Feel It

You open your mouth and you start talking. Your brain doesn’t need to focus on what your mouth is doing in order to form the words that convey your message.

But this time, stop and feel the letters as your mouth forms them.

  • How many letters require your tongue to touch the roof of your mouth? (The letter ‘L’ is one)
  • How many require air to be pushed through your teeth. (Of course, you must include the letter ‘S’)
  • How many do you feel in the back of your throat? (‘H’ gets back in my throat)

Name some more ways to feel letters.
