For Parents And Children
Children who receive lots of positive attention from the adults in their
lives are more likely to develop a clear system of values and live a
productive and satisfying life. Take a break from homework, housework, or
wasting time and have some fun together! (There will be learning, too!)
Have A Contest – Number Scavenger Hunt
Each player is assigned a one-digit number. Set a
timer for five minutes (or any amount of time you choose). During the
interval before the timer rings, players search for their number throughout
the playing area. The person who discovers his or her number the most
times, wins the game.
An easy way to track the numbers would be to use small
colored stickers such as those found in an office supply store. A
sticker is placed on each number that is discovered. At the end of the
playing time, the stickers are gathered and counted.
