Building Self-Esteem –
Responsibility
Having appropriate responsibilities is a great way to build self-esteem.
To insure the greatest possibility of the assigned tasks completed, set up a
reminder system.
You can use a chore chart and award stars for completed tasks. Another
idea is to assign a specific time for the duties to be accomplished. Use a
transition time as a reminder (immediately after dinner), or set an alarm as
a reminder.
Also keep in mind that it can be more encouraging if everyone is busy at
the same time.
