Tortilla Pizza

Make a beefy pizza with a tortilla and canned italian tomatoes.

Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

12 ounces ground beef
4 ounces onion
2 ounces green bell pepper
2 cups canned, diced tomatoes Italian style
4 flour tortillas , large
2 teaspoons olive oil
6 ounces grated mozzarella cheese

Directions
  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Turn off burner, drain fat from meat and return to skillet. Dice onion and green pepper and add to skillet.
  4. Turn heat back on to medium and cook for 2 minutes until onions are browned.
  5. Brush oil on tortilla and place on a cookie sheet, oiled side down.
  6. Spread tomatoes over the top of each tortilla.
  7. Layer meat mixture and then cheese onto tortilla.
  8. Place in hot oven and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly brown.
