Aesop - Belling The Cat
The mice held a meeting in order to decide how to protect themselves from their
greatest enemy--the cat. One mouse came up with what seemed to be the
perfect solution, place a bell around the cat's neck so she could no longer
sneak up on the mice. The plan had a flaw however, no one wanted to be the
mouse to tie the bell around the cat's neck.

Make A List - The
Well-Stocked Kitchen
When I go grocery shopping, I usually choose the recipes I plan to cook
and make a list from the ingredients the recipes require. But there
are some things that I want to have on hand at all times. Canned
beans, tuna and chicken broth are some of may keep on hand items. I
like having those items handy in case I need to whip up a meal that isn't on
my menu plan.
I also have always keep on hand items in my refrigerator, my freezer, my
spice rack, my baking cabinet and boxed foods. Take turns suggesting
food items that should be kept on hand or restocked as soon as they run out.
