I never made a mistake in grammar but once in my life and as soon as I done it I seen it.
         - Carl Sandburg

Mr. Sandburg’s quote above was obviously a joke.  He has purposefully included several examples of poor grammar in this sentence.  How many can you spot?

Have you ever seen a fuzzy little caterpillar, black with an orange stripe, creeping along the ground where you live? 

I was always told that the width of the orange stripe was a weather indicator.  Not true, as I found out from 10000birds.com
