Communication - Your Favorite Forms

You would never find me with a phone attached to my ear.  I truly dislike talking on the telephone.  I've even proclaimed a phobia for my condition -- telephobia!

I don't write letters very often, mostly because my handwriting is a bit hard to read.  I really don't have an excuse for the sloppy handwriting, I always won the penmanship awards in grade school.  I'm just impatient about the time it takes to write things out by hand when typing is so much faster.

Have you guessed that my favorite form of communication is e-mail and instant messaging?  I also like visiting in person, but an electronic conversation can take place while I'm doing other things and the people I'm talking with don't think I'm rude.  A definite winner for someone who earns a living working on a computer.

What are your favorites when it comes to staying in touch?  Which forms of communication are not as good for you?
