Simple Machines - Lever
Many devices that we use everyday are
levers. A lever is a simple machine that makes work easier and involves moving a
load around a pivot using a force. Pushing down on a stapler is one
example of a lever in action. Moving a spoonful of soup to your mouth
is another. How many more can you name?

What Are? - Ambiguities
A sentence that can interpreted in more than one way
is said to be ambiguous.
- Whenever you bake cookies be sure to include your
children.
This sentence, of course, is encouraging parents to let kids help bake
cookies. But it could also mean that the children should be put into
the cookie batter!
Make up some ambiguities of your own.
