Table Topics
Mind-stretching brain games and
conversation starters.
It's the perfect opportunity for sharing stories, building knowledge,
strengthening character, and having fun!
Alphabetizing - Your Table
Play round-robin style naming the objects (food included) on your table
in alphabetical order. Player one must find the item that would appear
first in a dictionary. Player two finds the next object, player three
the following, etc.
Did somebody miss something? Start over from the beginning (start
with a different player this time).

Communication - Word
Pictures
It can be very hard sometimes to understand what another person is
feeling. Words that create a visual image can make it much easier to
relate.
- My brain activity is more like radio static than thoughts until I've
been awake for at least an hour.
- When you told me you liked my story, it was if the room had suddenly
been filled with fragrant roses.
- Picture a huge iridescent bubble floating through the air.
Suddenly the wind comes up, a sharp branch whips into the bubble and it is
burst. That is how I feel when someone tries to start a conversation
with me when I am in the middle of singing a song.
Make up some more of your own.
