Mind-stretching brain games and conversation starters.
It's the perfect opportunity for sharing stories, building knowledge, strengthening character, and having fun!

Communication - Conflicting Signals

Sometimes what we say is not as important as how we say it.  For example, have you ever heard a person say, "I'm fine!", with eyes squeezed shut and a clenched jaw.  Somehow you knew this person wasn't fine.  Or how about hearing the words, "Of course, I'll do your chores for you," in a lilting tone accompanied by a smug smile.  You probably realized that you would be doing your own chores.

Take turns making statements while using body language, tone of voice and/or facial expressions that conflict with the spoken words.
