Science – My Body

This is an excellent activity that can be adapted to any age level. Use an old sheet if you have one. Otherwise you may need to purchase a roll of butcher paper.

Have your child lie down on the sheet or piece of paper and using a marker trace the outline of his or her body. The child then fills in the outline. Younger children will draw on facial features and clothing, but older children should be encouraged to get out the reference books and properly place heart, lungs, stomach and other organs.
