Parmesan Garlic Spaghetti

Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

8 ounces whole grain spaghetti
4 cloves garlic
12 sprigs fresh parsley
4 sprigs fresh oregano
1/4 cup olive oil
1 dash pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 side salads
4 slices bread

  1. Heat a large saucepan of water on high until boiling.
  2. While water boils, mince garlic and chop parsley and oregano.
  3. Add spaghetti to boiling water, stir and cook on high until tender (about 8 to 11 minutes).
  4. While spaghetti cooks, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic until lightly browned.
  5. Add parsley, oregano and pepper to skillet. Stir to mix. Turn heat to low.
  6. Drain and rinse spaghetti.
  7. Pour garlic sauce over spaghetti, top with Parmesan cheese and serve with salad and bread.
