Oriental Chicken Salad

Crunchy cabbage topped with fresh vegetables and chicken. Add a sweet and sour dressing, sesame seeds and chinese noodles and chicken salad goes Oriental!

Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 dash ground ginger
8 ounces boneless breast of chicken
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 pound shredded cabbage
4 ounces broccoli
12 snow peas
4 green onions
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup chow mein noodles

From kitchen to table in

  1. Mix together honey, vinegar, mayonnaise, mustard, sesame oil and ginger. Use a wire whisk or an electric mixer to completely blend ingredients. Refrigerate.
  2. Cut chicken into strips and brown in oil over medium heat until thoroughly cooked.
  3. Build salad from cabbage, broccoli, snow peas and green onion. Add chicken.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the salad and
    top with Chinese noodles.
  5. Serve with chilled dressing.
