For Parents And Children
Children who receive lots of positive attention from the adults in their
lives are more likely to develop a clear system of values and live a
productive and satisfying life. Take a break from homework, housework, or
wasting time and have some fun together! (There will be learning, too!)
Make And Learn - Topographic Maps
Have you ever looked at a topographic map? Those are the ones with the
squiggly lines running in circles all over the map. The lines
represent elevation and the circles are the mountains and valleys of the
land.But, you'll have a much deeper understanding when you make your own
mountain and then map it topographically. You will need modeling
clay (you can make it yourself), dental floss, a ruler, two toothpicks,
paper and pencil.
