For Parents And Children
Children who receive lots of positive attention from the adults in their
lives are more likely to develop a clear system of values and live a
productive and satisfying life. Take a break from homework, housework, or
wasting time and have some fun together! (There will be learning, too!)
Play A Game - Dictionary Race
Take turns being the leader. The leader writes a word for the other
players to see. At the word, "Go!", the players race to see who can
be the first to find the word in the dictionary. If you don't own
a dictionary for each player, players can race against the clock.(If your
child has a spelling list to learn, those could be the words used in the
race.)
