Consumer - Product Packaging
I was scraping the last of the mayonnaise out of the jar the other day
and I noticed that there were raised ridges on the inside of the jar.
The outside was smooth, but the inside had the ridges. What could be
the purpose of those ridges?
The conclusion I drew was that the ridges made it more difficult to
completely scrape the jar empty. I would be throwing away a bit of
product along with the container. Not much, that is true. But
multiply that little bit by the number of containers sold each year and the
company has certainly made a profit on all those little dabs that end up in
the trash.
What do you think? Can you name other products that make it difficult to
completely empty the container before you need to buy more?

Play A Word Game - Leap
Frog Letters
Player one names a word.
Player two must leap the last letter of that word over
the other letters and then use the first two letters to form a new word.
Player three takes the last letter of that word,
places it in front of the first letter and makes a new word using those two
letters.
Player four must make a word that begins with the
letters 'ea'.
Can player five think of a word that starts with the
letters 'ge'?
Keep playing until someone gets stumped.
