Critical Thinking - Drawing Conclusions

Take turns telling a story, but not mentioning where the event takes place.  The other listeners much infer the setting of the story by the details in your narrative.

Jill was feeling a bit cranky.  There was Marjorie happily whizzing back and forth, soaring through the air like a carefree breeze.  It just wasn't fair that Jill's room was on last call for lunch this week.

You probably correctly inferred that Jill is on the playground at her school.  Did you also conclude that Marjorie was swinging on a swing, which is what Jill loved most.
