Fun, Educational Activities
For Parents And Children
Children who receive lots of positive attention from the adults in their
lives are more likely to develop a clear system of values and live a
productive and satisfying life. Take a break from homework, housework, or
wasting time and have some fun together! (There will be learning, too!)
Science – My Body
This is an excellent activity that can be adapted
to any age level. Use an old sheet if you have
one. Otherwise you may need to purchase a roll
of butcher paper.
Have your child lie down on the sheet or piece
of paper and using a marker trace the outline
of his or her body. The child then fills in the
outline. Younger children will draw on facial
features and clothing, but older children should
be encouraged to get out the reference books and
properly place heart, lungs, stomach and other
organs.
Is your liver on the right or on the left? You
