I’m not quite old enough to have worked with punch-card computers. Our family purchased a personal computer in the early 80’s when my son Alex was growing up. I’ve enjoyed watching computers change and improve since then. Now computers are small enough to hold in your hand! What a difference.

Start by choosing one number to be the specified multiple (2 is the easiest, 7 would be much harder). Then start counting, each player naming one number and the next player naming the successive number. However, if the number that is to be named is a multiple of the specified number, the player must say BUZZ instead of naming the number.

Here is how the game would be played using the number 4:

1, 2, 3, BUZZ, 5, 6, 7, BUZZ, 9, 10, 11, BUZZ, etc.
