Share Your Knowledge—Unusual Animal Characteristics
I've always been fascinated by the unusual ways that animals have adapted to
their environments. The hump that a camel carries on its back so that it can
store the extra water needed for desert survival is one example. The long neck
of a giraffe ensuring it a food source with very little competition is another.
Have some fun naming other unusual characteristics of different animals and how
these characteristics help them to survive.
