Personal Qualities - I
Would Do Well Because...
What if you were given the responsibility to help
someone improve their reading skills? What qualities do you possess
that would make it possible to accomplish the goal? Perhaps it is your
love of books, your patience, or sense of humor. Maybe you possess all
three of those qualities and more!
Make up some imaginary challenges of your own and take
turns considering the skills you possess that would be helpful in each
situation. (Planning and preparing a meal for 50 homeless people is
one idea.) Younger participants can project themselves into the future
if desired, depending on the challenge.
