Holiday Star Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place cookie dough on a flat surface (leave wax-paper backing in place).
3. Press cookie cutter into dough and transfer to a cookie sheet.
4. Sprinkle cookies generously with granulated sugar.
5. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes until golden.
