Optimism - Deciding To Be Happy

Generally, people are as happy as they are willing to be
  --
Abraham Lincoln

Consider the "Optimist Creed" from the international service organization, The Optimist Club, Nine Promises for Happiness.

Welcome to Optimist International

Now make a tenth promise to practice the promises in your life.  Not only will you be happier, but so will the people whose lives you touch.

Play A Word Game - Rolling Sentences

Player one starts by creating a short sentence.

  • I hope it rains.

Player two must create a new sentence of the same number of words.  The rolling part of the game refers to the fact that the new sentence must contain initial letters that are one place forward in the alphabet from original sentence.

Sentence One:

  • i, h, i, r

Sentence Two:

  • j, i, j, s
  • Join Ingrid jumping streams.

Player three must now roll these letters forward:

  • k, j, k, t
  • Katie just kissed Tom.

Which letter combinations will stump your players?
