Farmer's Market Stir Fry

How many servings?

From kitchen to table in 30 minutes.

olive oil
fresh green beans
yellow zucchini
onion
yellow bell pepper
green bell pepper
cooked chicken
purple cabbage
broccoli
cornstarch
chicken broth
soy sauce
sugar

Grocery Shopping List for Farmer's Market Stir Fry

Directions

  1. Pour olive oil into a skillet.
  2. Slice fresh green beans into 1 inch pieces and add to skillet. Turn heat on to medium-low.
  3. Slice zucchini, onion, and peppers. Add to skillet. Continue cooking over medium-low. Stir often.
  4. Add chicken meat to skillet and stir to mix.
  5. Heat water on high in a steamer for cabbage.
  6. Chop broccoli and add to skillet.
  7. Dissolve cornstarch in chicken broth. Stir in soy sauce and sugar. Pour over vegetables. Turn heat on to medium-high and stir until sauce thickens.
  8. Chop cabbage very fine. Using a steamer basket, soften cabbage slightly by steaming for 2 minutes.
  9. Pour chicken and vegetables over steamed cabbage.
