Play A Number Game - Guess My Multiple
If I were to say the numbers 6, 8, 10,
you could see that all of these numbers result from another number
multiplied by 2 (3,4,5). Take turns challenging each other to guess
the multiple for three number that you name.
If you are playing with advanced learners, the game can be more
challenging if you name numbers that are non-sequential. The above
example could also use the numbers 48, 76, and 108 (24, 38,54).

Learned Optimism - You
Can Be Happier
Also called positive self talk, learned optimism is
the practice of catching yourself thinking negative thoughts and then
changing the thought to something more positive.
- If I ask a question, everyone is going to think I'm
dumb.
- I can't be the only one who is confused.
- All this traffic! Walking in late for the meeting will be a
disaster!
- Well, I'm stuck in traffic, nothing I can do about it. I'll call
work and let them know about the delay. Now, I'll just mentally go
over my presentation one more time.
