Crab CakesCrab Cakes - Crispy on the edges and tender in the center, these crab cakes whip up quickly and make a delicious easy supper with deli potato salad and peaches.

canned crab meat

bread
onion
celery
lemon juice
milk
salsa
pepper
dried parsley
olive oil
potato salad
sliced peaches

Grocery Shopping List for Crab Cakes

Directions

  1. Drain crab meat and place in a mixing bowl. Beat egg into crab meat.
  2. Cut bread into very small cubes. Add to crab meat in mixing bowl.
  3. Mince onion and celery and add to mixing bowl. Sprinkle in lemon juice, milk, salsa, parsley and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Using an ice cream scoop, place crab meat in hot oil. Press with a spatula or pancake turner to flatten. Brown one side then flip and brown the second side (about 7 minutes per side).
  5. Serve Crab Cakes with deli potato salad and sliced peaches.
