Chili Spuds

Get your family to the kitchen table in a hurry with microwaved baked potatoes topped with canned chili, cheese, onions and peppers.

4 large baking potatoes
1 can chili (15 1/2 ounce)
2 ounces onion
2 ounces red bell pepper
2 ounces green bell pepper
2 ounces cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Microwave potato on high for 5 minutes (adjust time according to the power of your microwave).
  2. Heat chili in a saucepan on medium heat.
  3. Dice onions and red and green peppers.
  4. Grate cheese.
  5. Split the potato and top with chili, onions, red and green peppers, and cheese.
