Chili PastelChili Pastel - Spicy chili made from Great Northern beans and corn with ham ready in less than 30 minutes.

onion
canned great northern beans, drained
chicken broth
frozen corn
canned, diced green chilies
fresh cilantro, chopped
red pepper flakes
cumin
pepper
Monterey jack cheese
tortilla chips

Directions

  1. Dice ham and onion.
  2. In a large saucepan combine ham, onion, beans, chicken broth, corn, chilies, cilantro, red pepper flakes, cumin, and pepper.
  3. Heat to boiling. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Top with grated cheese and serve with tortilla chips.
