Chicken and Tomato Italian Sandwich

Canned, diced tomatoes seasoned with rosemary and oregano and canned chicken served hot over a toasted bun and topped with crispy vegetables and mozzarella cheese.

Change the Serving Size

16 ounces canned chicken
2 cups canned diced tomatoes with rosemary and oregano
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
4 sandwich buns
2 ounces onion
2 ounces green bell pepper
2 ounces grated mozzarella cheese

  1. Drain chicken and place in a skillet. Add undrained canned tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Stir and heat over medium until thickened.
  2. While chicken and tomatoes heat, dice onions and green bell peppers.
  3. Toast sandwich buns and top with chicken and tomatoes. Sprinkle diced vegetables and grated mozzarella cheese over the top and serve.
