Blueberry Bread Pudding

1 tablespoon butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
4 slices bread
1 cup fresh blueberries
cinnamon sugar




Directions.

  1. With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together.  Add egg and beat again until fluffy.  Stir in milk and set aside.
  2. Turn oven on to 375 degrees to preheat.
  3. Cut bread crumbs into small cubes and place in a large mixing bowl.  Stir milk mixture and pour over bread crumbs.  Allow to set for 5 minutes.
  4. Fold blueberries into softened bread crumbs.
  5. Pour batter into an ungreased loaf pan.  
  6. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.  Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes and spoon out with a spatula.
