BBQ French Fries and Chicken StripsBBQ French Fries and Chicken Strips - Perfect for a barbeque, frozen french fries flavored with sesame oil are cooked over the grill and paired up with saucy chicken strips.

BBQ French Fries and Chicken Strips

Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

From kitchen to table in

1 pound frozen french fries
4 ounces red bell pepper
4 ounces onion
4 teaspoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons sea salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
12 ounces boneless chicken
4 teaspoons prepared barbecue sauce
4 side salad

Directions

  1. Thaw french fries for at least one hour before your cooking time.
  2. Slice bell peppers and onions into strips and add to potatoes. Sprinkle sesame oil over vegetables and stir to evenly coat. Set aside.
  3. Cut chicken into strips.
  4. Place chicken strips on hot grill and coat with barbecue sauce. Adjust heat to medium-low to low. Transfer potatoes, peppers and onions to a skillet designed for grilling. Adjust heat under potatoes to medium.
  5. Turn potatoes, peppers and onions often to brown evenly. Turn chicken at least twice during cooking and brush with sauce each time.
  6. When fries are brown and chicken is cooked through, sprinkle fries with sea salt and paprika and serve with chicken and salad.
