Mind-stretching brain games and
conversation starters.
It's the perfect opportunity for sharing stories, building knowledge,
strengthening character, and having fun!
Language - Letter Sounds
Today's featured recipe is
Jicama Chick-ama. Jicama is a crunchy
root vegetable and is pronounced "hick' a ma" (which is why we decided
to rhyme it with chicken in our recipe)
Can you think of other words in which the letter 'j' sounds more like the
letter 'h'? How about words in which the letter 'g' sounds more like
the letter 'j'? (Gypsy comes to my mind.)

Geometry - Triangles

you see triangular supports on bridges. Can you name other examples of
objects which use triangles for sturdiness?
