Change Someone's Mind - Negotiating
On many occasions when I was teaching, the children hoped to change my
mind regarding a decision I had made. The ones who pleaded, begged or
wheedled never succeeded. Those who had acquired the skill of
negotiation sometimes convinced me that a compromise was possible.
